What is a man but the sum of his memories? We are the stories we live and the tales we tell ourselves.

This is Jill, or as I like to refer to her – Me.  I am a full time beach enthusiast and part time wine aficionado.  I’m in my late twenties and I am mostly Type A with a dash of spontaneous ridiculousness and a pinch of Peter Pan complex.

These days I’m an over-caffeinated, over-tired, over-worked, list-making, constantly learning, and ever busy momma just trying to keep it all together.

I volunteer at the local Fire Department and at times I let it consume my soul as I eat, breath, sleep and live Fire House.  I could always have worse hobbies – I used too.  Life has not been easy, but I have always tried to make it fun. I have a day job too, but who doesn’t?

I make a point of spending time with people who build me up and support me. I have no time in life for anyone trying to hold me back. I am an unstoppable force of nature, both destructive and prolific.

This is my rock. My soul mate. My ever present support. He is the one person I need more than any other.  He never ceases to surprise me.  We got hitched on November 7, 2014 and it was magical

In 2016 we added this little lady to our roster. We are learning everyday how to be the best parents possible and she is always keeping us on our toes. Each day is a privilege just watching her learn and grow. For every thing that we teach her, there are 2 things for her to teach us.

I started writing at the age of 3. I wrote my first story before I was 5.  Unfortunately my mother turned it into a keepsake as opposed to a best seller, but what can a girl do.  Writing is my passion… Well, that and food.

I used to think I was just living a regular life which wasn’t worth telling others about, but in reality – There is no such thing as a normal life. I gave up on imagination when I realized how hilarious and bizarre real life was.  Who needs fiction?  Everybody has a story worth telling and this is mine…
